The short version
Your financial inputs never leave your device. Every calculation on this site runs locally in your browser — nothing you type into the calculator is transmitted to us or stored on any server. There are no accounts, and we never ask for your name, email, income, or any other personal information.
What we do collect
Like most websites, we use analytics to understand aggregate usage — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and how the site performs. Specifically, this site may use:
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage statistics (page views, session duration, approximate geography based on IP, device type). IP addresses are not logged or made available to us.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session replays and heatmaps that help us improve usability. Clarity masks text inputs by default.
Advertising
This site serves no ads. There is no Google AdSense on it, no DoubleClick cookie, and no advertising or retargeting network of any kind — the only third-party scripts it loads are the two analytics services named above. There are no affiliate links and no referral fees either; nobody pays us when you decide to rent or to buy, which is the point.
If that ever changes, this page will say so before it takes effect, naming the provider and what it collects — the same rule we apply to analytics below.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own. Cookies on this site come only from the two analytics services described above. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings; the calculator works fully with all cookies blocked.
Shared links
If you use the "share" feature, your calculator inputs are encoded into the link itself (for
example ?pp=500000&dp=20) so the recipient sees the same scenario. Those
numbers exist only in the URL you choose to share — sharing is entirely under your control.
Data requests and questions
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to export or delete. For any privacy question, contact us via the contact page.
Changes
If our data practices change, this page will be updated and the date above revised. Material changes (for example, adding a new analytics provider) will be reflected here before they take effect.
