RentVsBuyMath.com is a free educational calculator that models the long-term financial trade-off between buying a home and renting while investing. It is provided as-is, free of charge, for informational purposes.

The calculator produces estimates driven entirely by assumptions you control — small changes in assumptions can flip the outcome, and no model can predict actual market returns, home prices, rents, tax law, or your personal circumstances.
